Christmas was fast approaching and many of the residents of the marsh
were busy collecting any food they could still find. Like
every years, they intended to have a big feast with all their friends
and families. |

Henry Ermine was out and about looking for things to decorate the marsh
with. Christmas was less than ten days away and Henry was
part of the decorating crew. With the snow already over a
foot deep, it made it very hard to find interesting objects to use for
decorating. |
Alan Beaver could see Henry was busy searching but he wasn't sure what
for. Being polite and not to seem nosy, Alan asked Henry if
things were okay and if he needed any help.
|

It was very fortunate for Henry that he had ran into Alan.
Alan had just passed a tree still full of red berries and the
berries were easy to get at. After Henry had got the full directions to
the tree, he thanked Alan very much and went on his way.
|

No sooner did Henry begin his journey to the upper marsh where the tree
was, he was knocked over by a big snow ball. Luckily he
wasn't hurt but he was quite startled. He could hear the
laughter of a few small and young animals but he wasn't certain who it
was.
|

Being as smart as an ermine could be, Henry popped his head out of the
snow pile he was laying in. As he suspected, he recognized
the culprits right off the bat. He knew that dealing with
those tykes meant getting even but Henry was out for full revenge.
