Moosegal.com is Changing

  Hey everyone, I'm a few days late.  Doing this web master stuff isn't as easy as most would believe and so,
  I tend to run  behind my own schedules.  I ask you forgive me but expect it will happen again. 

  Now on to the great news.  Moosegal.com is running a contest.  What are the rules?  Well, I don't really
  know yet. What is the prize?  It will be something from Circuit City, Khols, Movies Unlimited or Amazon.
  If I knew when the movie Ghost Rider was released on dvd, I would consider that to be the prize.  There
  is always the chance of Ghost Rider being a prize seeing moosegal.com will be running contest every once
  in a while.  I may even get the snail guy to participate.  Please keep watching the "Headlines" for contest
  rules, start date and prize.

  It sure has been a while since I have made any new site announcements.  I hope everyone has liked the
  many changes that I have done.  More changes are underway.
 
  Please continue to come back as I have a few off the wall idea's I want to try.  I might cheese off a
  few web sites but my brain is telling me to go for it.   Anyway, keep an eye on this site and make sure that
  you don't miss out on any super stupid moments I might have.

 If you clicked on the alert box from the main page and arrived here, then you are in the right place.  First
 of all, I want to remind everyone that there are a lot of new viruses out there and on the move.  Please
 take proper precautions.  If you are on a web site (including moosegal.com) and something wants to
 download into your computer, make sure it is something you trust.  As for moosegal, I have no downloads
 so if you are prompted from my site, I must have been hijacked so don't download.  I will not put any
 downloads on my site but will give you links where some downloads might be required. 

 New page being added.  As I think of all you people out surfing away and just wanting to enjoy your time
 on the net, I am very much aware many of you do not have proper protection.  I will be adding a page with
 secure links were you can download free protection for your computer.  I will also add a link to some great
 online scanners and sites where you can get services for problems you maybe encountering.  Always use
 a trusted site for downloads.  Watch the marsh for the new page and please be careful when surfing the net.

 It's been a while since I have last made any postings in this section.  There has been a lot of changes and
 many more to come providing I am still here.  As you all know, moosegal.com has made no money and the
 cost of running it is being covered by the two main sponsors located at the bottom of the marsh.  Unless
 moosegal sees some major advertising, then it's just a matter of time before the financial burden becomes
 too much for my sponsors and we may have to pull the plug.  Everyone please bare with us and cross your
 fingers as I have put in over 1000 hours on this site of my free time and would like to see it keep going.

  In this past week, I have made a lot of changes to moosegal.  I do hope it has helped people get around a
  lot easier.  The one thing I am still working on is, getting more games for the arcade.  I am also in the
  process of changing the stores on the shopping page.  J.C. Penny, Kohl's and Macy's will be moved out
  on rotation.  I do hope you find the stores that will be offered to be a great swap with better savings and
  a wide range of different merchandise to choose from.  Also be expecting to see the playground and park
  to change soon. The guys and gals section is also on the list of changes and then once they are complete ..
  this site will grow, again.

 The teen page has been altered a lot over the past week and I am also happy to announce that there is a
 functional mail room added to the site.  Although the layout is not as I had hoped, I did spend a lot of hours
 trying to write a script to make a more appealing menu and yet not a java based script.  Regardless to say
 ... I have not been as successful but I don't intend to limit myself and will seek a good, flexible and visually
 appealing style.  One more thing .... I have pulled a new business out of the submission hat and Decembers
 winner will be posted.

  As some of you have noticed, moosegal has been changing.  I am having a terrible time finding a good
 background for the new and improved teen page.  The Marsh will also be undergoing some major changes.
 After thinking things over, I feel that maybe there is too many buttons grouped together and with the
 continuation of this sites growth, I will be making it easier for people to navigate through.  I am also
 searching for more games to go into the arcade, will be adding some polls, link to a daily word search, link
 to a daily crossword puzzle, working on the new mail room and I will be revamping the hunting information
 page.  As for the shopping page ... at the moment, it is set up for only the christmas season but after long
 consideration, I have decided to make it a year round shopping page, allowing you to do online shopping
 year around.  If you should have any other suggestions or request, please don't hesitate to use the contact
 moosegal link at the bottom of the marsh page.

 First off, I added a new room.  For those whom love RPG games, I have no added a room with links to the
 many games available on the net.  I hope you will enjoy them.

 Secondly, I will also be making changes to the opening page of moosegal.  I find that a front door might add
 a little more class to the site and it will allow me to play around with the opening look of this site.  Content
 is important and should be serious to a certain extent but I would like to add more fun, charm and still
 keep the class to it. 

 I hope you have also had time to check out the television page I added.  Will be putting a site map in soon.

  So here is the plan .... I am intending to open up more access from this site for you.  I will be adding links
 to at least four different types of web based e-mail services (G-mail, hotmail, yahoo and a undecided).  I
 will also put a full site map in place for you, will be adding the free internet television link (trying to find
 a good one, without pop ups and works well in all browsers), major changes to the x-mas shopping page,
 major changes to almost every room here and more links will be added to the marsh page.  Although I
 would like to do all this quickly ... I am merely one person that is being taunted by a pokey snail so
 please check back frequently.  If there is something you would like to see done soon, please send me
 an e-mail.  There is a contact link on this page in the November 6th posting.
