k, moosie is going to voice an opinion here and some may agree and some may not but it's got to be said anyway. 

The purpose of this summit in Huntsville Ontario is to give aid to "improve the health of woman and children in poor nations."  Stephen Harper is giving away over 7 billion dollars of Canadian tax payers money to another country when Canada can't even take care of it's own sick.  People die everyday waiting for health care and waiting times can be over 2 years before receiving a surgery that could save lives.

We are in a recession, we have no money to spare.  The Summit cost tax payers over 1 Billion dollars just to host the summit.  Canadian's are awaiting the new HST to be implemented which will only cause further suffering to the many already living below poverty.

Now of course we all know that Canada isn't the only country that has donated much needed money .. the United States is also guilty of the same actions.  The sad thing is ... We elect these people and they are giving away our much needed money.  It is on the backs of the people that leaders are using the money to be charitable, let's see them contribute out of their own pockets and stop picking ours dry.
